With pretty dappled red/apricot skin and charming pale yellow flesh, Smitten, developed in New Zealand in the 90's, is a very popular modern apple that combines the best of a number of other apple varieties.

Tasting notes
Smitten offers notes of freshly cut grass and rose water on the nose. It has great texture – it's notably crunchy and vibrant. There is a clean and refreshing note to the apple – nice phenolics. Bright and generous, Smitten delivers an exceptional balance of sweetness and acidity. "Once bitten, forever smitten".
