Fuji
Sweet, crisp and juicy
Unsurprisingly, the Fuji apple began in Japan in the 1930's, not too far from the Mongolian birthplace of the apple itself - bred from two American varieties for maximum sweetness.
Tasting notes
Fuji is a stand-out apple - generally large and with a unique honey sweet taste. This apple has a firm, crisp texture with extremely dense and very juicy flesh. Fuji is instantly recognisable with a red blush over a green yellow background.
